1. Body Mass Index (BMI) Formula:
We compute BMI ratios using standard metric weight/height relations:
Metric: BMI = Weight(kg) / Height(m)²
Imperial: BMI = (Weight(lbs) / Height(in)²) * 703
2. Daily BMR Formula (Mifflin-St Jeor):
Basal Metabolic Rate represents resting caloric expenditure, calculated as:
Men: BMR = (10 * W) + (6.25 * H) - (5 * A) + 5
Women: BMR = (10 * W) + (6.25 * H) - (5 * A) - 161
Where W = weight in kg, H = height in cm, and A = age in years.
